Five Great Things
Five great things about being an arts student in the University of Minnesota West Bank Arts Quarter:
- Students work with and learn from faculty who are renowned experts in their fields, many of whom work as professional choreographers, visual artists, theater directors and orchestra musicians outside of the University.
- Students have the opportunity to experiment and collaborate across the arts with like-minded students in the Arts Quarter Collective.
- Arts students at the U have access to the latest digital technology to assist them in their creation of art, dance, music and theatre productions.
- As students in the College of Liberal Arts, arts students learn to think critically, solve problems, and develop portable conceptual skills that will prepare them to deal with the challenges and opportunities of life and career after graduation
- Over 250 arts events happen in the West Bank Arts Quarter each year. Add to this the thriving Twin Cities arts scene, and the choice is obvious: the University of Minnesota is THE place for college-bound visual and performing artists.
